Shawn’s message to the Voters
Dear voters of the 36th district
My name is Shawn Shipp and I ask for your support in my campaign for Kansas state representative. The 36th district consists mostly of western Wyandotte Co including Piper and northwest part of Kansas City, KS.
As a fellow Dotte I am committed to improving our county and neighborhoods. I support legislation that supports our local small businesses and that fosters Wyandotte County’s entrepreneurial spirit. I believe in creating a climate where job creating businesses can flourish. I believe our neighbors, our families and friends in Wyandotte County and all across Kansas need help. This is why I will work endlessly to reduce the tax burden on businesses and working families. At the end of the day, people in Wyandotte county need a leader they can trust to represent them. I am that leader. In addition to the economy my campaign will focus on
- Strengthening education in Wyandotte County and the State of Kansas
- Reducing your tax burden
- Fair elections and strong voter laws to prevent election fraud
- Immigration reform
Together, with your help, I believe we can make the 36th district, Wyandotte County and the State of Kansas a better place to live and work. I will fight to improve our neighborhoods. Your support is extremely important to me, I need your help and most importantly I need your vote on November 6, 2012.
